About Rectangular Leather Hang Tags

.sub-title{ font-size:24px; font-weight:700; line-height:1.6; margin:28px 0 14px; text-transform:capitalize; } .sub-title .dot{font-weight:900; margin-right:10px;} A Rectangular leather hang tag pairs straight‑edge precision with the unmistakable richness of hide. The calm geometry frames crests and logos neatly while the grain delivers tactile depth in hand. Natural tonal variation keeps every tag subtly unique, signalling craft before a word is read. Space for line names, sizes, and pricing turns a small panel into a premium buying cue instantly. Sturdy leathers resist scuffs and folds, holding shape on rails, folded stacks, and gift sets. Purposeful and enduring, it elevates presentation for apparel, accessories, and heritage goods alike.

•Straight Lines, Elevated Craft

  • The rectangular outline reads disciplined and modern, balancing the organic character of leather. Parallel sides keep wordmarks, monograms, and size blocks aligned to the shopper’s sightline. Subtle corner radiuses defend edges without diluting the confident, workshop‑clean silhouette. A centred drill hole or slit ensures level hanging so details stay square during browsing. Neutral proportioning suits compact wallets, robust outerwear, and statement footwear equally. The result is quiet authority—clarity and warmth that photograph beautifully and sell calmly.

•Leathers & Backings That Last

  • Full‑grain and top‑grain leathers deliver long life with surface character that ages gracefully. Vegetable‑tanned options feel firm and matte at first, mellowing to a rich sheen over time. Chrome‑tanned leathers offer colour breadth and stability for fashion‑forward seasonal capsules. Suede‑split faces add tactile softness; bonded backers keep thin cuts flat and camera‑ready. Fabric‑laminated or card‑backed constructions add stiffness where slim hides need support. Every build balances hand‑feel, thickness, and durability for daily retail handling realities.

•Layouts That Read At A Glance

  • A disciplined grid prioritises brand mark, product line, and size or fit in fast‑scan positions. Secondary lines capture material notes, care, and price while preserving generous breathing room. Micro icons translate features—water‑resistant, hand‑finished, responsibly sourced—into quick cues. Clear gutters keep copy away from hardware holes and cut edges for flawless legibility in use. Barcodes move to a companion tail or reverse card where scanning space can remain generous. The system scales across small goods and outerwear without redrawing the master artwork each run.

•Makes, Marks & Surface Techniques

  • Deboss and blind emboss sink crests into the grain, catching shadows with subtle depth. Foil stamping in brass, copper, or champagne lifts monograms while staying tastefully restrained. Laser etch yields hairline detail and QR clarity on smooth, tight‑grain panels reliably. Screen or pad prints add opaque whites and spot colours that read clean on darker hides. Contrast saddle‑stitching or wax thread borders frame the rectangle with crafted definition. Every technique is chosen to serve legibility first and celebrate leather’s natural character next.

•Edges, Oils & Protective Finishes

  • Hand‑burnished edges compact fibres and add a subtle gloss that telegraphs care immediately. Edge‑paint systems in tonal or contrast shades seal perimeters against fluffing and dye rub. Light waxes and oils enrich colour and touch while resisting incidental moisture in store. Anti‑smudge topcoats protect price fields and barcode companions from fingerprints gracefully. Suede protector sprays tame nap lift for camera‑ready trays and PDP close‑ups throughout. Finishing choices prioritise clarity, touch, and long‑term neatness across seasons and stores.

•Sustainability & Traceability Options

  • Leather Working Group‑aligned sourcing supports better water, waste, and chemical management. Vegetable‑tanned, chrome‑free lines offer a lower‑impact path with classic ageing performance. Reclaimed and upcycled leathers tell a circular story without compromising premium hand. Paper or fabric backers can be FSC‑certified, recycled, or mono‑material to ease separation. On‑tag messaging explains origins, tanning approach, and care in clear, customer‑friendly terms. Responsibility is integrated—credible, documented, and consistent across ranges and seasons.

  3. 3

We send a proof to check before anything goes on press. The 10–12 working days are counted from that approval, not from the order.

Frequently Asked Questions

The tag itself is not intended to go through a wash - it is a hanging tag, removed at purchase. If the mark needs to survive laundering, it belongs on a sewn-in woven label instead, which we also print.

We print on genuine leather, and on vegan and recycled alternatives if you prefer. Say which you want on the quote form. Leather takes embossing and debossing particularly well, which is the usual reason for choosing it.

A swing tag is the printed card tag that hangs from a product rather than being sewn into it. It carries the brand mark, the price, the size and whatever else the customer needs at the point of sale, and it is removed when the product is used.

Through a punched hole or a reinforced eyelet, using string, elastic, ribbon or a safety pin. Ask for the string to be fitted before despatch and the tags arrive ready to attach rather than needing threading.

Pricing starts at £0.02 per tag. What you pay depends on the stock, the size, how many colours you print and which finishes you add - foiling and embossing cost more than plain printing. Send the specification and the quote comes back itemised, so you can see what each choice is worth.
